Victorian/ Steampunk fingerless gloves

My latest Swapbot swap is called "Show off your craft".  I got a gal that's into Steampunk.  I've had this pattern in my list of things to do for a while so I was excited to try it out.  I think it turned out really well.
I posted it on facebook when I finished the first glove and now a friend wants me to make her a pair in purple.

I had plenty of the gray yarn leftover so I tried knitting a beret to go with it.  Epic fail!  So I added a flower to the brim and now it's a cloche.  Cute but drab in gray.  Oh well.

Market Bag

Here's my first market bag.  The pattern is called "Bag, You're It" from Ravelry.com
I'm not sure how I feel about it yet.  It was fun and pretty easy to knit and I love market bags but this one seems a bit small.  I was barely able to fit the 2-2 Liter sodas in it. 
Maybe it'll stretch.

Sea and Beach Dotee received

What a great package we received in the mail today!!  We got our Sea and Beach themed Dotee!

Frannie just loves her!  She's so cute!!
Our swap partner also sent some scraps of fun cloth and great ribbons.  We are all set to make more Dotees!!  Yippie!
