Here they are.  All 50 of the Teeny, Tiny Friends To Go for the Art-o-mat machines.  Now I have to package them and send them to Art-o-mat.  I'm hoping they'll tell me where they'll be.  :)

Zombies

Zombies next.  I altered the Groom pattern changing the color of the suit and making green skin and adding X eyes and scars and blood.

Astronauts

Astronauts were next.  One of my nephews picked this one.  I wasn't sure if I was going to like them.  But after making the first one I was hooked.  :)

Ballerinas

Time to catch up!  Made these ballerinas next.
I made 3 blondes like the pattern and 2 brunettes.

Disney Princesses

I have completed 2 sets of these 5 Disney Princesses.
Belle, Cinderella, Aurora, Tiana and Rapunzel.

This makes 25 Teeny Tiny Friends for the Art-o-Mat machines.  25 to go!  I just need to make up my mind on which ones to make.  So many choices!!

Mermaids for Art-o-Mat

Art-o-Mat wants 50 items boxed and ready to go.  I have ordered the boxes.  Now I just need to make the "Friends to go" to put in them.
I've decided to put a tag on them..."tiny friends to go".  I emailed the gal who made the patterns to make sure I could use them.  She is very excited about Mochimochi coming out of a vending machine!  She just wants credit for the patterns.  So the paper inside the box will read

My brother suggested stories to go with each friend.  I love it!  So now I have to come up with little stories for them.
For the mermaids...
I'm thinking of naming them Coral.  She has long hair that has a tendency to become tangled in lots of things.  She uses coral to comb it out, earning her the name Coral.  (just an idea.  I suppose it needs to be fleshed out a bit)

Art-o-Mat news

I am now the newest Art-o-Mat artist!!  Yea me!!  I'm so excited!  Now I have to make 50 little critters, package them and mail them so they can start putting them into machines around the country!
So if you see an Art-o-Mat machine look for my stuff or find another artist to support.  They are the coolest machines and "Don't go around artless."

art-o-mat hopeful

I sent in my submission to become an Art-o-Mat artist.  Hopefully I'll hear from them soon and then I'll be a knitting maniac!
I first ran into an Art-o-Mat machine at the Exploratorium in San Francisco.  I'm hooked!  They are so cool!   And I really hope to be able to join their long list of fabulous artists!!
I sent them a mermaid and a dinosaur and some black and white pics (out of color ink) of some other tiny mochimochi that I've made.  Hopefully they'll like them.

I don't have a picture of my dinosaur.

Hats in Etsy store

I just opened an Etsy store.  So far I only have some of my sci-fi hats in there but I am working on expanding.

Back in business...so to speak

My test worked!  I've tried to post a few times and had no luck so I'm glad.  Now I can start posting again!
Since I last posted I've been busy moving from Seattle to the metropolis of Suisun City, CA.  My husband got work in this area so...  We've been here since Labor Day.  I've been settling in and finding a job, etc.
I have found a fabulous knitting group!  Actually, they found me.  I was having coffee and waiting for the post office to open.  So, of course, I was knitting.  A lady came up to me and asked me about my knitting.  Then she invited me to join her group that was meeting right then across the street at the local Senior Center.  I've been going ever since.  Great group of gals!  And they were nice enough to let me in even though I'm not a senior...yet.  One day I will be so...
Right now I'm working on making up a bunch of Teeny Tiny Mochimochis.  I made a bunch for my Ravelry.com Cute Critter Wars and gave them all away.  Some went to my knitting friends and co workers but most went to the Kindergarteners I help take care of after school.  It was my graduation gift to them.  Everyone has loved them.  So now I'm working on making a bunch more.  Now that I know people like them I'm going to try to get accepted as an Art-o-Mat artist and have them sold in old, retired cigarette machines around the country.  So cool!!  Check them out at www.art-o-mat.org
